About The Position
The Senior Painter - Cab Paint is responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to truck cabs while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with industrial painting techniques, and a commitment to delivering a first-class product.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass paint physical.
- Must pass respiratory physical.
- Must be able to completely apply Topcoat and Clear coat to all parts of truck and meet corporate quality appearance criteria.
- Must be able to climb ladders without restrictions to paint roofs of cabs.
- Must be able to work in Team Environment.
- Must be able to rotate in painting different parts of cabs.
- Must be able to always wear fresh air hood and suit when applying topcoat or working in paint booths.
- Must follow all safety related procedures when disposing of waste and hazardous material.
- Must be able to use required hand tools and paint equipment.
- Must be able to use supplied power tools in assigned task assembly.
- Must be able to key production processes at required pace.
- Complete spot repairs.
- Prep for Paint, blend and clear within cycle time.
- Repair dents, work with Bondo and tiger hair, able to feather out sanded bodywork in cycle time.
- Panel paint within cycle time.
- Tear down and build up painted parts without damage.
- An attached resume.
