About The Position

Dayton-Granger, Inc. We are seeking full-time Manufacturing Assemblers to join our team. This role involves the assembly and soldering of small electrical and mechanical components, as well as detailed cosmetic paint touch-up to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing assembly experience, be comfortable with small parts, possess strong hand-eye coordination, and take pride in precise workmanship. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Minimum 1 year of experience assembling small parts in a manufacturing setting (electronics or mechanical assembly preferred)
Experience using hand tools and working with small, detailed components
Experience working with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materials
Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
Basic computer skills
Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be a U.S. person as defined by Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Nice To Haves

Experience performing fine paint touch-up or cosmetic surface correction on parts (highly preferred)
Background in aerospace or electronic component manufacturing

Responsibilities

Assemble small electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and work instructions
Perform detailed paint touch-up to correct minor cosmetic defects and ensure parts meet visual quality standards
Remove masking materials and prepare parts for final inspection
Visually inspect parts for surface quality, color consistency, and overall workmanship
Perform light soldering on small, detailed components
Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processes
Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
