About The Position

Full Funnel Growth is a remote performance marketing agency specializing in paid search for various industries including medical aesthetics device manufacturers, DTC eCommerce brands, regulated retail (cannabis), lead generation for service businesses, and B2B SaaS. The agency operates accounts in USD, CAD, EUR, and AUD, with some managed directly and others through an MCC. A key aspect of their operation is that strategy and execution are handled by the same individual for each account. The agency emphasizes an AI-native approach, utilizing tools like Claude Code with custom skills and Python scripts to interact directly with advertising APIs. Their workflow requires precise, data-driven deliverables with labeled claims and exact numbers. They are seeking a part-time contract Senior Paid Search Strategist who either already works in this AI-native manner or can adapt quickly within the first week.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing paid search campaigns at an agency.
  • At least one previous role where independent client relationship ownership was a key responsibility.
  • Strong command of Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen) and Microsoft Ads.
  • Fluency in Smart Bidding is non-negotiable.
  • Demonstrated experience with both lead generation and eCommerce campaigns.
  • Comfort with attribution complexities, including GA4, platform-reported conversions, cross-source reconciliation, and familiarity with post-click pixel tools (e.g., Triple Whale, Northbeam).
  • Proven track record of successful remote work, with strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and execute using Python scripts that interact with the Google Ads API, parse JSON, run GAQL queries, and work in a terminal.
  • Experience using agentic AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor as part of a daily workflow for shipping work, not just for Q&A.
  • Ability to explain complex AI concepts (e.g., Smart Bidding, Performance Max signals) clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of platform-level AI changes (Smart Bidding, PMax, AI-generated assets, Demand Gen) with informed opinions on their application.
  • Discipline in analytical work, labeling claims as extracted, inferred, or assumed, and flagging missing data rather than estimating.

Nice To Haves

  • Vertical expertise in medical aesthetics, DTC eCommerce on Shopify, regulated retail (cannabis, alcohol), or B2B SaaS.
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio or a willingness to learn it.
  • Experience managing non-USD accounts (CAD, EUR, AUD).
  • Basic understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Google Ads certification.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and execution for a defined portfolio of three to five accounts, with monthly spend ranging from $1K to $40K, across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Prepare weekly per-account performance write-ups in .docx format and monthly client-ready summaries.
  • Conduct ad-hoc deep dives for campaign issues or opportunities.
  • Manage direct client communication, including written updates, review calls, and strategy presentations.
  • Handle end-to-end campaign management, including account structure, Smart Bidding strategy and calibration, Performance Max asset groups and signal feeding, search term mining, negative list management, ad copy creation, feed audits, and landing page feedback.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between platforms like Triple Whale and GA4.
  • Proactively identify and propose opportunities across the portfolio, such as branded budget increases, PMax channel shifts, Demand Gen tests, and geo or bidding migrations.
