Senior Paid Media Buyer

Block LLPBurbank, CA
$80,000 - $120,000Onsite

About The Position

At Block LLP, we combine sharp legal expertise in personal injury and liability matters with a vibrant, team-oriented culture. We believe that efficiency, collaboration, and accountability drive exceptional results. Our team is committed to delivering excellence for our clients while fostering a dependable and supportive workplace where everyone is empowered to succeed. We're hiring a media buyer and creative strategist to own paid acquisition across several practice areas, spending $100K+ per month, primarily on Meta. Together with the Director of Marketing, you will lead media buying, creative strategy, and ad operations. You will work directly with the leadership team. This is a full-ownership role. You are not overseeing creative or reviewing someone else's work. You are concepting the ads, writing the scripts and hooks, directing the production process, and then buying and optimizing the campaigns yourself. You decide what gets made, how it gets tested, and when to scale it. The problem this role solves: Block LLP has local organic reach, a proven offer, and strong unit economics, but needs a single operator who turns that leverage into a predictable, scalable, performance-driven paid engine that can absorb meaningfully more capital without breaking CAC.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on media buying experience managing significant spend in high-CPL, lead generation environments.
  • Legal advertising experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to write scripts and hooks that perform, not just manage creative built by others.
  • Deep Meta Ads Manager expertise across campaign structure, pixel, CAPI, and audience strategy.
  • Solid Google Ads experience including LSA and Search campaigns.
  • Proficiency with CRM and attribution platforms: HubSpot, Leaddocket, Hyros, Triple Whale, Segmetrics, Wicked Reports, Gohighlevel, or similar.
  • Proven use of AI for creative production, scripting, campaign management, reporting, and automation.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) creative and campaign experience is a meaningful advantage given our target markets.
  • You think in business outcomes. CPL connects to case value connects to firm revenue. You can reverse-engineer what your CPL needs to be to hit a signed case target several steps downstream.
  • You move beyond vanity metrics in every report and every conversation.
  • Comfortable with direct feedback, high expectations, and a culture where people are held to what they commit to.

Nice To Haves

  • You know the difference between a form fill and a qualified plaintiff and you have optimized for the latter.
  • You can show us ads you wrote and what they did.

Responsibilities

  • Developing ad concepts built around plaintiff pain points and emotional triggers that convert in competitive legal markets.
  • Writing scripts and hooks for video and static ads in both English and Spanish.
  • Directing internal or external production resources to bring creative to life.
  • Launching and managing structured tests inside Meta Ads Manager with clear hypotheses and clean reads.
  • Identifying what works and scaling it with discipline, knowing when to push and when to pull back.
  • Ongoing optimization based on real metrics, not opinions.
  • Turning winning ads into repeatable, documented systems.
  • Full Meta ad account management: campaign architecture, audience strategy, creative, and budget allocation.
  • Google Ads including LSA, Search, and Display.
  • Managing $100K+/month in ad spend with hard accountability to CPL and signed case volume.
  • Owning the entire creative pipeline: concepts, scripts, hooks, production direction, and iteration.
  • Managing attribution and performance reporting via HubSpot or similar, tied to business outcomes.
  • Running English and Spanish language campaigns and creative across Southern California markets.
  • Providing weekly reporting to leadership: results, what changed, what is next.
  • Ensuring ad compliance across all platforms and applicable advertising regulations.
  • Staying current on Meta and Google platform changes, privacy shifts (CAPI), and AI tooling independently.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary $80,000-$120,000 DOE
  • Robust PTO program, including time-off accrual and firm-recognized holidays
  • 401(k) retirement savings program
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to measurable impact and results
  • Clear growth and advancement opportunities within a scaling organization
  • Supportive, team-oriented environment built on accountability and collaboration
  • Regular firm-wide events, team outings, and company celebrations
  • Fully stocked kitchen with snacks, beverages, and coffee
  • Growth-focused culture with meaningful advancement pathways
  • Leadership team that values ownership, performance, teamwork, and excellence
