About The Position

Being good neighbors – helping people, investing in our communities, and making the world a better place – is who we are at State Farm. It is at the core of how we operate and the reason for our success. We're moving with urgency to become a Next Gen Good Neighbor, with technology that strengthens human connections and enhances the customer experience. As an employee, you'll spend less time navigating systems and more time applying judgment, empathy, and expertise in the moments that matter most. As part of the Property and Casualty Actuarial community, you’ll be challenged and empowered to grow both personally and professionally. We’re committed to helping each associate reach their full potential. To support that growth, P&C Actuarial offers a competitive Exam Support program for associates pursuing their actuarial designations. Our Sharing Economy team is responsible for adapting to shifting consumer preferences and emerging trends in the transportation of both people and goods—and evaluating how those trends affect our customers’ insurance needs. The team partners with cross-functional groups, including Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Loss Reserves, to translate platform data into pricing recommendations that support profitable program growth for the #1 Property and Casualty insurer in the United States. Analysts gather and reconcile data from a variety of internal systems and external sources to support actuarial analyses. They also help build and maintain tools used for in-depth loss analysis, actuarial indications, and ongoing trend monitoring.
