About The Position

As a Senior Outbound Account Executive at CardFlight, you will be responsible for finding, calling, and helping small businesses modernize how they get paid. This role involves a high-velocity, outbound-only sales motion, utilizing a parallel dialer to target SMB owners and close net new SwipeSimple Connect customers from a cold start. It is designed for individuals who thrive on activity, enjoy phone-based sales, and want their income directly tied to their performance. Our outbound AEs are among the highest earners at CardFlight, with a compensation structure that reflects this. The role is fully remote.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in outbound sales, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or payments, selling to SMB owners.
  • Parallel dialer experience and ability to manage a high-volume call environment.
  • Genuine hunter mentality, energized by building pipeline from scratch.
  • Proven quota attainment in an outbound or self-sourced pipeline role.
  • Strong SMB instincts and ability to capture attention quickly.
  • Consultative closing ability, moving quickly without being pushy.
  • CRM discipline and ability to ramp on new sales tools.
  • Ability to manage a cold start to close sales cycle.

  • Experience selling SwipeSimple Connect.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound pipeline from zero, building it through high-volume calling, targeted email, and disciplined SMB prospecting.
  • Prospect into defined small business segments (restaurants, retail, service businesses) using data-driven targeting.
  • Run the full sales cycle, from first dial to close, including qualifying, demonstrating, handling objections, and driving decisions.
  • Meet daily activity metrics, focusing on dialer performance, connect rates, conversations, and pipeline velocity.
  • Maintain accurate CRM logging, clean pipeline hygiene, and sharp forecasting.
  • Partner with marketing and product to stay current on messaging, competitive positioning, and ICP insights.
