About The Position

The Sr. Strategic Outbound Account Executive (Sr AE 2) is the highest-level outbound sales role at Weave, reserved for top performing, proven sales professionals. This individual will be responsible for maximizing new logos from our SDR team as well as self sourced logos. This role is designed for Account Executives who can flawlessly leverage, maximize, and convert SDR-supplemented opportunities, while maintaining the proactive outbound mindset required to self-source additional pipeline through targeted prospecting and referrals. The role will be measured strictly on high-value conversion. Ramp Period: In office M-F 8 am–5 pm (First 120 days). Post-Ramp Schedule: Hybrid (MTW 8 am–5 pm in office; Th/F flexible WFH). Reports to: Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior SaaS closing experience (preferably in high-velocity or SMB sells).
  • Proven track record of cold calling, hunting, and building a self-sourced sales pipeline
  • Top-tier performance—consistently finishing in the top 10% of your peer group and exceeding quotas.
  • Experience handling larger deal sizes or multi-location/group sales.
  • Exceptional sales process discipline, organizational standards, and CRM management.
  • A resilient mindset with the ability to thrive and lead by example in a high-intensity environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep experience selling into SMB and or related healthcare verticals
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, ChiliPiper, Zoom Dialer, and Zoom Revenue Accelerator.
  • Advanced-level communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
  • A high level of coachability combined with a natural leadership capability to elevate the teammates around you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of SDR-fed opportunities and self-sourced opportunities from assigned leads
  • Maintain expectations of outbound dials, set appointments, and completed demos while balancing SDR fed opportunities
  • Consistently achieve monthly/quarterly targets with targeted conversion rates
  • Embrace proven methods to articulate and sell all Weave products & services.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect product capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Keep organized, detailed records of opportunity activity within Salesforce
  • Generate new sales opportunities by soliciting referrals from assigned opportunities.
