About The Position

We are actively expanding our US projects team to support a growing portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects across the United States. SimoTech is seeking an OSI PI System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience on in OSI PI Historian system design/configuration in the pharmaceutical industry

Requirements

• BS Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in automation, engineering, or IT, specifically OSI Pi
• Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of GMP’S, regulatory requirements, computer system validation.
• Interface regularly and provide formal and informal project status updates to Project Management
• Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• The Data Historian System Administrator will oversee the system integrator design and configuration of the OSI Pi platform including: OSI Pi Server Infrastructure, Integration with DeltaV and Interfaces with external systems including BMS, PLC and Remote I/O
• Provide day -to -day support and administration for the Data Historian System.
• Assist in maintaining the Data Historian System, including servers, operating systems, security tools and applications
• Monitor Data Historian System health and respond to issues as they arise.
• Review the work and work products that the Data Historian System Integrator produces. Including design specifications, network architecture drawings, testing strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the System Integrator Engineers and Developers
• Support Commissioning and Qualification activities
• Provide periodic status updates to Project Management.
• Co -ordinate system changes and update technical documentation.
