About The Position

The Senior Database Developer is responsible for developing and supporting PLSQL database codes. This role requires 5 to 7 years of PL SQL experience on OLTP systems, with a focus on query performance tuning. The developer will also be responsible for understanding and utilizing External Data Loader, and have a solid understanding of database objects such as tables, views, and triggers. The role involves developing SQL and PL SQL codes to automate manual reporting tasks, optimizing existing code for better performance, and demonstrating strong development skills in Oracle Database 11g/19c, including building packages, procedures, and triggers. An in-depth understanding and working experience in SQL and PL/SQL is crucial, along with knowledge of Oracle Advanced Queue. Daily support tasks and ticket resolution are also part of the responsibilities, as is an understanding of the ETL process, Data Architecture, and Data Modeling skills. The ability to understand requirements and work independently is essential, as is the ability to integrate data between Oracle Database and SQL Server Database.
