About The Position
Join a dynamic team as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, working on high-impact financial applications in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Expertise in developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database solutions from scratch.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database (12c/19c or later), data modeling, and database design.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable discussing technical concepts with non-technical users.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience in financial services or supporting financial applications.
- Knowledge of both Oracle and .NET environments.
- Experience with Oracle Database 19c.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and database objects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize database performance through tuning, query optimization, and root-cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment plans.
- Collaborate closely with business users, project managers, architects, QA, and production support teams to deliver high-quality applications.
- Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and lead technical design reviews.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, and data governance standards.
- Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.
