About The Position

We are seeking Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developers with approximately 10–15 years of experience and, most importantly, deep, current, hands-on PL/SQL development expertise. This role is highly technical. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong practical knowledge during technical interviews and provide thoughtful solutions to real-world, day-to-day engineering problems. This is not a management-focused position; the team is specifically looking for engineers who remain actively hands-on with Oracle SQL/PLSQL development.

Requirements

Oracle PL/SQL Engineering
Strong hands-on experience developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Development of complex stored procedures, packages, database business logic, custom data types, and transactional data models.
Advanced SQL & Data Manipulation: Analytical and windowing functions, Complex joins and aggregations, Set operators, Subqueries and query optimization.
Strong data analysis and data modeling capabilities.
Database Performance Tuning: Query optimization, Reading and analyzing execution plans, Database diagnostics, PGA memory tuning, Partitioning strategies.
ETL / Informatica.
Autosys and batch job development.
Data API design and implementation.
Understanding of scalable application design principles.
Knowledge of mid-tier technologies such as Java.
Familiarity with messaging technologies and web containers.
Understanding of how mid-tier technologies interact with databases.
CI/CD processes and tools.
Agile software development.
Candidates must be prepared for deep technical interview discussions and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
Develop complex stored procedures, packages, database business logic, custom data types, and transactional data models.
Perform advanced SQL development, data analysis, data modeling, and data manipulation.
Design and implement data APIs and database-centric solutions.
Analyze and optimize database performance.
Develop and maintain batch processing jobs using technologies such as ETL/Informatica and Autosys.
Translate business requirements, storyboards, and use cases into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Participate in application design, design reviews, and code reviews.
Develop automated test cases and participate in regression testing.
Contribute to engineering practices involving ATDD, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
Collaborate with distributed/global development teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
Contribute directly to the codebase while working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
