About The Position

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) – Source is seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Apps DBA to support a mission-critical U.S. Air Force program modernizing enterprise maintenance and logistics systems. The role supports the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Initiative (MROi), managing large-scale Oracle EBS R12.2 environments across on-premise infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata Cloud Services, and Cloud One. The Senior Apps DBA works with government stakeholders, system integrators, and engineering teams to maintain secure, high-performance Oracle ERP systems supporting Air Force operations worldwide. The role is intended for cleared professionals working on national defense systems and modern Oracle cloud technologies. The position includes administering Oracle EBS and database environments, supporting performance and security, contributing to cloud and hybrid architecture efforts, and providing technical support to the MRO Program Office and system implementers. It also includes mentoring junior DBAs and creating, maintaining, and reviewing procedures and system documentation.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance.
U.S. citizenship.
IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent).
5–7+ years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.
Experience with large enterprise Oracle environments.
Experience with Oracle EBS installation, cloning, patching, and upgrades.
Experience with ADOP online patching cycles.
Oracle Database 12c and 19c administration experience.
Experience with Oracle RAC, RMAN, and ASM.
Linux or Solaris system administration experience.
Oracle WebLogic Server administration experience.
Experience monitoring with Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting Department of War programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification.
Oracle E-Business Suite certification.
Experience with Oracle Exadata infrastructure.
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, including SOA, IAM, APEX, and OEM.
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience working with distributed or government contractor teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, clone, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments.
Manage ADOP patching cycles, upgrades, and system maintenance.
Provision and clone environments across development, test, training, and production.
Administer user provisioning, roles, and responsibilities.
Support application monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Manage Oracle Database 12c and 19c environments.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Support Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard architectures.
Monitor database performance and perform tuning as needed.
Support Oracle ERP deployments across OCI, Cloud One, Exadata Cloud Services, and DISA environments.
Assist with cloud migration, hybrid architecture integration, and infrastructure automation.
Ensure systems meet DoD security requirements and STIG compliance.
Analyze query execution plans and optimize database performance.
Identify application performance bottlenecks.
Conduct performance testing and system benchmarking.
Support capacity planning and load balancing.
Work closely with the MRO Program Office (PMO) and system implementers.
Provide technical expertise on architecture and scalability decisions.
Interface with Oracle Support and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to operational best practices.
Create, maintain, and review procedures and system documentation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
