About The Position

Hunlock Creek Energy Center (Hunlock) is a 169 MW natural gas-fired power plant located in Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania. Strategically located in the PJM market with access to Marcellus natural gas supply, Hunlock comprises two independently dispatchable assets: a 125 MW combined-cycle gas turbine and a 44 MW combustion turbine. CCI acquired Hunlock in September 2024. Castleton Commodities International (CCI) is seeking a Senior Operations Support Coordinator for Hunlock Creek Energy Center in Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania. This position provides administrative support to operations supervisors, managers, and field technicians and serves as the lead coordinator for accounting, finance, and procurement-related activities supporting the operations team. The role works extensively in SAP and supports work order administration, vendor coordination, purchasing, budgeting, and meeting coordination.

Requirements

High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
At least seven years of experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Strong knowledge of accounting systems and budgeting processes.
Advanced knowledge of the administrative, accounting, procurement, and operational support activities required for the role.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, vendors, and other business contacts.
Professional, reliable, and self-directed work habits, with the ability to complete responsibilities independently without supervision.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive documents and materials with discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to operations employees, supervisors, managers, and field technicians, reporting to a supervisor or manager.
Review accounts payable invoices, obtain required approvals, and process invoices for payment through the computerized approval system.
Create purchase requests and support the operations budgeting process, including ongoing budget maintenance.
Work directly with Accounting on budget-related activities, including monthly accruals.
Maintain a purchasing card (P-Card) and make purchases to support the operations team.
Use SAP and computerized maintenance management systems to support inventory records, work orders, and maintenance plans.
Assist with maintaining equipment, functional location, and work center records in the computerized maintenance management system.
Prepare estimates and contact vendors for quotes.
Assist supervisors and managers with calendar scheduling and coordinate meetings, conference and training registrations, luncheons, and other activities.
Support other departments as needed, including land, environmental, project management, and safety.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the manager.
