About The Position

The Senior Operations Management Trainee (Senior OMT) participates in an approximately six-month advanced leadership development program at BioLife Plasma Services. The program includes travel to plasma centers across the country, hands-on experience, mentorship, and a self-directed learning plan covering management of high-volume plasma collection facilities. Trainees may travel up to 90–100% of the time and can return home every other weekend. After completing the program, trainees have 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager position and must relocate upon graduation to a BioLife location they choose to apply to. The role develops leadership and operational skills through team management, operational support, management training, problem-solving, and communication with senior management. It also includes working to create a positive donor experience, retain donors, and potentially assist with production. Successful career progression may provide opportunities to open and operate new plasma centers.
