About The Position

The Senior Operations Management Trainee (Senior OMT) participates in an advanced leadership development program supporting BioLife Plasma Services’ plasma centers across the country. The approximately six-month expedited training program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and a self-directed learning plan covering management of high-volume blood plasma collection facilities. Trainees travel extensively during the program, may return home every other weekend, and, after completing training, have 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager position. Relocation is required upon program completion, with the trainee able to choose which location to apply to. The role offers opportunities to advance into a Plasma Center Operations Manager position and potentially open and operate new plasma centers. The position combines team leadership, operational support, staff planning and recruiting, employee development and retention, donor service, problem-solving, and communication with senior management. The trainee may also assist with production. The work takes place in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and prolonged glove wear.
