About The Position

The Senior Operations Management Trainee (Senior OMT) participates in an approximately six-month advanced leadership development program focused on managing high-volume blood plasma collection facilities. The role includes hands-on operational training, mentorship, and a self-directed learning plan covering center management. Trainees travel to BioLife plasma centers across the country and, after completing the program, have 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager position. Relocation is required upon completion, with the trainee able to choose which location to apply to. The position offers a path toward a Plasma Center Operations Manager role and opportunities to help open and operate new plasma centers. The role involves developing and motivating diverse teams, providing employee feedback, conducting performance reviews, supporting employee development, participating in staff planning and recruiting, and helping engage and retain employees. Trainees provide operational support, conduct management training, solve problems, communicate with senior management, and help create a positive donor experience and retain donors. They may also assist with production. The role operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and requires extensive travel, with the opportunity to return home every other weekend.
