About The Position

Cintel is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst with strong experience in Project Management, unmanned aerial target operations, mission coordination, and logistics to support our Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) customer with an Aerial Target portfolio of products to include the Aerial Target Flight Services (ATFS) and the Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to the Aerial Target Product Directors regarding various types of aerial target flight operations requirements at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Senior Operations Analyst will assist the Government in the planning, coordination, and execution of aerial target operations. Responsibilities will include event planning, launch and recovery operations, logistics and transportation coordination, technical documentation, and onsite mission support. The successful candidate will support aerial threat and target requirements for DoD organizations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, and will also participate in site assessments to evaluate launch and recovery locations, equipment requirements, range support, and overall mission feasibility.

Requirements

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of unmanned aerial target operations, launch and recovery systems, ground support equipment, event procedures, and technical guidance.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten (10) years experience; 15 years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of aerial target operations, logistics, mission scheduling, and range coordination.
  • Must have a SECRET security clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
  • On-site presence with customer at Redstone Arsenal is a must.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government in the planning, coordination, and execution of aerial target operations.
  • Provide direct support to the Aerial Target Product Directors regarding various types of aerial target flight operations requirements at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Event planning, launch and recovery operations, logistics and transportation coordination, technical documentation, and onsite mission support.
  • Support aerial threat and target requirements for DoD organizations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
  • Participate in site assessments to evaluate launch and recovery locations, equipment requirements, range support, and overall mission feasibility.
  • Review and evaluate operational and program-related components including equipment readiness, maintenance, logistics, procurement support, sustainment planning, fielding, technical documentation, and configuration considerations.
  • Coordinate aerial target mission support, including target checkout and launch/recovery activities, range and airspace scheduling, frequencies, external support agencies, operational test support, threat presentation activities, and live-fire training exercises.
  • Perform operational/project coordination activities to include planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing personnel, equipment, and internal/external support resources to keep missions and events on schedule and support successful execution.
  • Conduct and support site visits to determine feasibility for equipment placement, ground support requirements, and target launch/recovery locations, drawing on knowledge of home-station and TDY range operations.
  • Support post-mission documentation and AAR reporting; provide operational input to mission planning, travel projections, logistics/procurement requirements, equipment support, and related contract actions.
