About The Position

The Senior Operations Analyst provides direct support to the Acquisition Operations (AcqOps) Director within the Cargo Helicopters Project Management Office (PMO). This role is central to coordinating communications across the PMO, synchronizing efforts with external stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of operational and administrative functions. The ideal candidate brings extensive U.S. Army project office experience, strong tasker management expertise (ETMS2 or similar), and the ability to translate strategic direction into actionable operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • Bachelor’s degree with 13 years of relevant experience
  • Allowable substitution: High school diploma and 17 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in: U.S. Army operations at the O-6/APEO level
  • Tasker management systems (ETMS2 or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • DAU Program Management Level II (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with DoDI 5000 series Acquisition Instructions
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army staffing processes and procedures
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial PMO point of contact for all shared products, including briefings, reports, and other deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate the staffing of taskers and deliverables across the organization to support PM, DPM, and AcqOps Director workloads.
  • Operate as an expert user of ETMS2 or similar tasking systems to issue, manage, and track U.S. Army and DoD taskers.
  • Coordinate with Cargo Helicopters teams to ensure timely analysis, completion, and submission of PM approved responses to RFIs and staffing requests.
  • Facilitate horizontal and vertical communication across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of tasks.
  • Support AcqOps personnel in executing a wide range of office functions, including: Event planning and support (town halls, ceremonies, industry engagements), Human resource management support, Property accountability and facilities/space management, Administrative services, security coordination, and administrative IT support.
  • Provide recommendations to PMO leadership on streamlining operations, improving processes, and achieving organizational goals.
  • Coordinate suspense actions that impact major program segments or the organization.
  • Lead special ad hoc initiatives related to organizational structure, mission alignment, workload analysis, resource planning, and transition planning.
  • Develop, articulate, and prioritize operational requirements; orchestrate support across the PMO to meet those requirements.
  • Identify issues through analysis and propose effective resolutions.
  • Translate strategic concepts and vision into operational objectives and executable tasks to support future mission success.
