About The Position

BreakForth Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our team of dynamic professionals. The individual will help address growing demands related to performance, acquisitions, human resources, facilities, and general operations activities tied to key CFO initiatives. This candidate must have the ability to be on site in Washington, D.C. as needed (expectation is 2-3 days/week). Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an operations analyst supporting a federal agency
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Operations, or a related field required
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), are preferred
  • Experience utilizing financial systems and tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI preferred
  • Experience supporting operational and administrative functions
  • Experience in project management and reporting on high-priority initiatives
  • Experience writing SOPs
  • Experience with federal agency budgetary practices
  • Active public trust clearance or the ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support high-visibility initiatives, including timeline development, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, and performance reporting
  • Prepare polished executive-level presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials tailored for senior leadership and federal agency executives
  • Conduct data analysis using pivot tables, charts, and other tools to identify trends, monitor performance, and support decision-making
  • Provide excellent and timely customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Respond to data calls, coordinate inputs across teams, and ensure clear, effective communication
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing operational or reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
