About The Position

The Senior Onboarding Manager oversees the end-to-end account onboarding process and directly manages the Funding and Verification team leaders. This role drives initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen technological infrastructure, and improve the overall customer and dealer onboarding experience across the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related field with at least 2 years in a management role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and any applicable role specific development or design software.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing a team is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of department software, including gathering requirements, coordinating testing, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing post-deployment monitoring.
  • Develop and implement verification strategies to reduce unnecessary customer contact, streamline department processes, and address workload inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and coach Verification and Funding team management on staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring, timekeeping oversight, and general administrative responsibilities; train team leads to support day-to-day staff management functions.
  • Communicate relevant department updates to the team; facilitate documentation and distribution of updated department policies; conduct team meetings and individual performance reviews; generate, analyze, and discuss department and employee metrics.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address process questions, identify and implement process improvements, and ensure satisfactory service in handling account and application inquiries.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, workflow, and reporting of Funding and Verifications while ensuring time sensitive deadlines are met.
  • Assist department managers and supervisors in resolving escalated pre-funding application issues and making final disposition decisions.
  • Handle dealer and customer complaints regarding Funding and Verification activities; delegate resolution responsibilities to qualified team members as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
