Oracle Health is seeking a Senior Network Services Engineer to operate and maintain network services supporting customers across data centers, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role contributes to availability, performance, security, and operational reliability by troubleshooting issues, implementing approved changes, and improving day-to-day operations. As a hands-on individual contributor, the engineer works semi-independently on well-defined assignments using established designs, standards, and procedures. The role uses approved Python tools, automation scripts, Terraform configurations, and deployment workflows to operate services safely and consistently. It identifies improvement opportunities, provides actionable feedback to Network Developers and partner teams, and seeks guidance on complex issues, unfamiliar designs, and changes with significant production impact. The engineer monitors, operates, and maintains physical and cloud network services; supports routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; and configures and troubleshoots OCI and AWS virtual networks, subnets, routing, security controls, DNS, and load balancing. The role participates in incident response, routine production changes, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, operational automation, and improvements to monitoring and recovery procedures. It coordinates work across infrastructure, security, SRE, platform, application, and vendor teams, and maintains accurate network documentation and handoffs. The position participates in a global team on-call rotation and planned maintenance outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays as assigned. It follows established runbooks and escalation procedures, engages senior engineers for complex or high-impact issues, and maintains ownership of assigned actions through resolution or coordinated handoff.
