About The Position

Deloitte is hiring a Senior Network Engineer for its Technology & Infrastructure team, supporting Deloitte University’s Infrastructure Team. The team delivers internal technology services and infrastructure that enable leadership development and hospitality experiences. The role provides technical services for computer hardware and software, administers and monitors technology environments, recommends new technology solutions, and works with senior engineers to implement applications and technology solutions. It also responds to critical issues affecting production and other system environments and may serve internal or external clients.

The position focuses on network infrastructure, including planning and deploying Cisco networking equipment, validating network performance and failover, maintaining technical documentation, and overseeing structured cabling installations. The role is available in Dallas or Westlake, Texas, with a hybrid work arrangement. Recruiting for the role ends November 20, 2026. For Westlake hires, the stated estimated compensation range is $93,000 to $191,000.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure network environments, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
• At least 2 years of troubleshooting experience and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field, and/or additional relevant IT-related experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to travel an average of 0–10%, based on the work performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services involving computer hardware and software.
• Administer, configure, monitor, and test application servers for business and network operations.
• Suggest and recommend new technology solutions.
• Work with senior-level engineers to implement applications and technology solutions.
• Monitor daily data and application server backups, upgrades, and patches.
• Respond to and resolve critical issues affecting production and other system environments.
• Plan, configure, and deploy Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Conduct site surveys and end-to-end testing to validate throughput, redundancy, and failover across floors and workspaces.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, IP address allocations, equipment inventories, and rack elevation drawings.
• Collaborate with contractors and low-voltage vendors to ensure proper network cabling installation, including patch panels and IDF/MDF setup.
• Coordinate with systems, security, facilities, and operations teams to integrate their technology needs with existing infrastructure.
