Senior Network Engineer/Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Developer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Network Engineer/Developer will design, plan, develop, test, secure, and optimize enterprise‑level network solutions in support of mission-critical operations. This position plays a key part in the architecture, evaluation, deployment, and modernization of network communications systems across the agency. Requirements
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- BS, 12-15 years of relevant experience; MS, 10-13 years; PhD, 10+ years
- One or more of the following DoD 8570/CS-NET-441 certifications: CASP+, CISSP, GCED
- One or more of the following network certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise/Security), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP)

- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional (if cloud networking is in scope)
- Microsoft or VMware networking-related certifications
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Palo Alto PCNSE
- Check Point CCSA/CCSE

Responsibilities
- Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Conduct cost‑benefit analyses and support hardware/software selection decisions.
- Perform testing and validation of network designs.
- Monitor network hardware to verify proper configuration and performance.
- Plan and execute network enhancements and upgrades.
- Advise users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
- Maintain deep technical expertise across routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and related infrastructure.
- Evaluate emerging communications technologies for future deployment.
