About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior .Net Developer with Spark experience. This is a full-time, 12-month contract (W2) role with possible extension, located in Charlotte, NC, requiring a hybrid on-site presence 3 days a week. As a Senior .Net Developer with Spark Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core, Angular, Spark, and SQL Server technologies. You will build and enhance RESTful APIs, backend services, and JBPM workflow solutions, as well as develop responsive user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS. A key part of the role involves creating, optimizing, and supporting Spark-based ETL/ELT data pipelines. Collaboration with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders is essential for delivering high-quality solutions. The role also includes writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, developing and executing automated tests, optimizing SQL Server databases and queries, containerizing applications using Docker, and managing deployments on OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes. Contribution to CI/CD pipeline development and automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and YAML-based deployments is expected. You will also be involved in troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, participating in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements. Support for cloud-native development initiatives and leveraging Azure services is also part of the role, along with continuously evaluating and implementing engineering best practices.

Requirements

Full stack application development with strong expertise in .NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, Spark, and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience building scalable backend services using C#, .NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and JBPM workflows.
Strong front-end development skills with Angular 13+, TypeScript, RxJS, and modern UI architecture patterns.
Experience designing, developing, and optimizing Spark-based ETL/ELT pipelines, including data transformations, performance tuning, and data quality validations.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including query optimization, database design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, OpenShift (OCP), and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
Strong testing expertise using xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Playwright, IceDQ, and Octane.
Familiarity with software design principles such as SOLID, Dependency Injection, Repository Pattern, Mediator Pattern, and microservices/modular monolith architectures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Self-driven problem solver who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (App Services, Key Vault, Storage) is a plus.
