About The Position

The Netflix tvOS team is a small but mighty group responsible for building a seamless discovery and streaming experience for our Apple TV customers. This feature set includes login, discovery, search, playback, and more. We are a group of highly skilled engineers who self-navigate through various problems to deliver complex solutions quickly and with extremely high quality. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building robust and scalable features for tvOS or iOS apps. You must self-organize project delivery, work with engineers cross-functionally to gather and define requirements and execute complex projects. This role needs an unusually responsible individual who will take ownership and pride in the quality of the Netflix app on Apple TV.

Requirements

Experience building iOS or tvOS applications
Proficiency in Swift and bonus points for Objective-C
Experience with Apple's software development tools (Xcode, Instruments, etc.)
Experience with UIKit or SwiftUI.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
