Senior .NET AI Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET and AI Developer with strong Object-Oriented Programming expertise and hands-on experience building AI-enabled enterprise applications. The role combines C#/.NET development (preferred) or Java development with practical implementation of AI solutions and use of AI tools across the software development lifecycle. The developer will design, develop, and integrate AI-powered capabilities into modern applications and use AI-assisted practices to improve requirements analysis, user story creation, solution design, coding efficiency, testing, and delivery productivity.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with C#/.NET Core and ASP.NET Core; .NET Framework experience is preferred.
- Strong Java development experience may also be considered.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of design patterns, dependency injection, and clean architecture.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases.
- Practical experience implementing AI-powered solutions in production environments.
- Experience integrating LLMs and Generative AI services through APIs.
- Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Experience with Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, or equivalent AI orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agents, and conversational AI design patterns.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Build scalable, secure, high-performance REST APIs and backend services.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Develop cloud-native applications using modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Design and implement AI-powered business applications and intelligent automation solutions.
- Integrate large language models, including OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or equivalent technologies.
- Develop solutions using AI agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and document intelligence capabilities.
- Implement prompt engineering, function calling, workflow orchestration, and AI integrations in enterprise applications.
- Build secure, scalable AI-enabled services that meet enterprise architecture standards.
- Use AI tools to accelerate software engineering activities.
- Leverage AI for requirements analysis, user story creation, acceptance criteria generation, feature decomposition, and solution design.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Support testing, documentation, and knowledge management using AI-based approaches.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to turn business requirements into AI-assisted delivery artifacts.
- Work with architects, business analysts, and product teams to define AI-enabled solutions.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Participate in proof-of-concepts and innovation initiatives involving Generative AI.
- Mentor junior developers on modern application development and AI adoption practices.
