About The Position

Zeel provides pain relief, medical testing, and musculoskeletal care from licensed professionals, in person and virtually, in patients’ homes and workplaces. The company connects patients and clients with trusted in-person and telehealthcare, with a mission to make health and wellness treatments seamless and accessible. The Senior Native React Engineer will build and maintain mobile frontend user applications and serve as the point person for subsequent automation efforts within Engineering and the broader organization. The role works with operations and development teams to identify pain points and prioritize automation, shares knowledge across engineering teams, takes ownership of services, and implements scalable workflows for processing parallel jobs and tasks.

Requirements

Solid understanding of or experience with software engineering best practices.
Team-oriented approach and willingness to partner with all parts of the business.
Experience with Agile software development, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Willingness to learn what is necessary to tackle problems.
Strongly typed language experience; the company uses TypeScript.
Experience with applications that encounter network issues and dropouts.
Experience building React Native apps with state management tools such as Redux.
Good debugging and profiling skills.
Experience writing unit tests with Jest.
Experience with Animated or preferably React Native Reanimated.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, or similar security practices.
Experience with native modules for Android and iOS.
Experience with end-to-end testing using Detox.
