About The Position

Fifteen Group Capital is seeking a Senior Multifamily Asset Manager to lead performance and value creation across their 1,200+ unit Los Angeles portfolio. This role involves significant onsite collaboration with property management, setting asset management strategy, and owning financial performance. The Senior Asset Manager will define asset operations, including business plans, operating standards, capital programs for property repositioning, and analysis for financing decisions. They will own their assets, partner with property management on operational strategy, and may support the acquisitions team. There is an opportunity to build and lead an asset management team as the platform grows. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing institutional-quality real estate, creating measurable value, and seeking an entrepreneurial firm where their judgment is valued.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, real estate private equity, or a related property operations role.
  • Demonstrated track record executing asset-level business plans and conducting financial analysis for multifamily properties, particularly class B/C assets.
  • Hands-on experience implementing initiatives at the site level to improve operations and drive value creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field required.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Self-starter who operates with minimal oversight and takes ownership of their portfolio.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, ability to hold multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to quickly analyze real-time data and make business plan recommendations.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and ad hoc operational analysis.
  • Experience and comfort with working in Yardi, including reviewing and pulling reports such as Rent Rolls, Box Scores, Traffic Summary Reports, Financial Statements, Receivables Reporting, and Accounts Payable.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to large multifamily portfolios and value-add investment strategies strongly preferred.
  • Background with institutional investors, private equity, or family office real estate preferred.
  • Experience with the Los Angeles multifamily market preferred.
  • MBA or MSRED a plus.
