Senior MuleSoft Platform Administrator / Engineer
About The Position
Fathom Management is seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Platform Administrator / Engineer to support a major Department of Veterans Affairs enterprise integration initiative. This role is ideal for a senior MuleSoft professional with hands-on experience administering, supporting, or engineering the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform within enterprise environments. The selected candidate will help ensure the stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of a mission-critical integration platform supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems. Working closely with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in API governance, platform administration, production operations, automation, and enterprise integration strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering, engineering, or supporting the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in an enterprise environment
- Experience supporting enterprise integration platforms in production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4.x, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric (RTF), Runtime Manager, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, REST APIs, SOAP Services, DataWeave, JSON, XML
- Experience with enterprise authentication and API security: OAuth 2.0, SAML, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, Okta
- Experience supporting Enterprise API Governance, Production Operations, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, High Availability
- Experience working with modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
