About The Position

KODA Technologies is seeking a motivated, highly skilled Systems Engineer to serve as a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) on its digital engineering team. The role supports Army systems by delivering comprehensive models that improve product understanding and efficiency and help expedite timelines for legacy and new systems. The position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
At least 10 years of related experience in MBSE, software, and/or systems engineering on complex systems.
Working knowledge of SysML and MBSE tools such as Magic Draw/Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, and DOORS.
Basic knowledge of architecture, requirements engineering, verification, testing, and system integration.
Understanding of system interface requirements and requirements management through SysML models.
Demonstrated ability to master complex technical subjects in a short time.
Experience developing and presenting briefings to government customers.
Goal-oriented, with strong people skills, ability to work well in a team, a strong work ethic, and a self-starting approach.
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to non-technical stakeholders and people without MBSE training.
Ability to contribute significantly through creative thinking, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SysML/UML models covering major systems and subsystems, software, digital architecture, requirements, and specifications.
Integrate models into system functional models.
Support system development as an architect, including requirements management, configuration management, data management, and risk management.
Develop and maintain functional and logical models for the system of interest.
Develop user guides, training, demonstrations, and other resources to encourage expansion of model-based systems engineering.
Participate in system requirements reviews and create or update requirement specifications and qualification models.
