About The Position

MTSI is seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to apply state-of-the-art systems engineering principles within a digital engineering framework. The role supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)’s Transformation Task Force by creating, analyzing, and maintaining system architecture models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related experience working on a missile defense-related or other complex, large defense program or project.
• Active SECRET clearance.
• Significant systems engineering experience, including system modeling, requirements management, and configuration management.
• Experience with system modeling tools such as Cameo.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS Next.
• Experience with tool extension and scripting, and automated document production.

Nice To Haves

• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP) – System Model Builder Intermediate.
• INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
• Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization – Publisher.
• Light coding and scripting experience with Java, Groovy, JS, Power Query M, or similar.
