About The Position

Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield company, is seeking a motivated Model-Based Systems Engineer to join its systems engineering team. The role works across technology domains including space systems, electric vehicles, combat vehicles, tactical communications, and command and control. Engineers manage their own schedules in a performance-based culture, with full-time remote telework and performance-based incentives. The engineer applies systems engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities to develop model-based requirements, interface, and design specifications. The role involves working collaboratively with system domain subject-matter experts, peers, managers, and customers, and calls for an inquisitive, outgoing self-starter able to work with minimal supervision and navigate system modeling tools at an expert level.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree with 12–15 years of experience, master's degree with 10–13 years of experience, or PhD with 10+ years of experience.
Experience with one or more of the following: NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, SysML, UPDM, or IBM Rhapsody.
Sound systems engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and quickly come up to speed on new technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with a highly technical team.

Nice To Haves

Experience using No Magic’s MagicDraw is preferred.
