About The Position

BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) is seeking a Senior Meeting Planner to drive end-to-end healthcare and pharmaceutical meetings and events in a fast-paced, highly regulated Life Sciences environment. This role involves managing all aspects of meetings from sourcing and contracting to onsite delivery, reconciliation, reporting, and closeout, with a strong focus on compliance, quality, and client expectations. The position is ideal for someone who excels at structured project delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless execution of complex event programs. Additionally, the Senior Meeting Planner will coach teammates, support operational continuity, and contribute to raising the team's overall performance standards.

Requirements

  • Leading healthcare and pharmaceutical meetings from kickoff through closeout in a highly regulated, detail-focused environment
  • Managing budgets, invoicing, reconciliation, and TOV reporting with accuracy, accountability, and strong financial oversight
  • Navigating venue sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation while balancing compliance, timelines, and business needs
  • Building strong relationships with clients, HCPs, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly and professionally
  • Coaching and supporting team members while juggling multiple deadlines, escalations, and operational priorities
  • Operated in the Central or Eastern time zones
  • 25% to 50% travel requirements
