About The Position

This role is for an elite Senior Media Buyer based in the U.S. who is actively managing 7-figure monthly ad spend on Meta and/or Google. The company operates at a serious scale, working with 7-figure monthly advertising budgets across multiple platforms, states, and markets, supported by a creative operation that can produce and test a high volume of ads. The ideal candidate is obsessed with performance, seeks to make significant improvements rather than just maintain existing strategies, and wants to operate at a scale where small improvements have a massive impact. This is not a traditional media buyer role; it requires taking real ownership over performance, identifying scaling and budget reallocation opportunities, understanding underperforming markets, and driving growth through strategic decision-making and execution.

Requirements

  • Based in the United States.
  • Actively managing 7-figure monthly ad spend on Meta and/or Google.
  • Genuinely elite at media buying.
  • Obsessed with performance.
  • Experience managing campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max.
  • Ability to take real ownership over performance.
  • Ability to quickly determine where to spend more/less, identify emerging opportunities, diagnose underperforming states, and identify winning ads/creative.
  • Understanding of scaling opportunities, budget reallocation, performance inefficiencies, and testing gaps.
  • Understanding of how media buying and creative strategy are interconnected.
  • Knowledge of best-performing ads, angles, and concepts.
  • Ability to translate performance data into actionable creative requests.
  • Ability to analyze underperforming markets and identify root causes.
  • Problem-solving skills, not just reporting.
  • Experience with operational aspects of running advertising at scale, including spend planning, pacing, budget allocation, campaign/creative launches, reporting, testing frameworks, and account organization.
  • Willingness to monitor campaigns over weekends and make critical changes outside normal business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google (YouTube, Search, Performance Max).
  • Continuously identify scaling opportunities, budget reallocation opportunities, performance inefficiencies, underperforming markets, and testing gaps across platforms and states.
  • Understand where advertising money is being spent, what it's producing, and where the next dollar should be allocated.
  • Collaborate with other media buyers and leadership on cross-platform and state-level budget strategy to achieve volume and profitability goals.
  • Bridge the gap between performance data and the creative team, ensuring the creative team knows what's working, what's gaining traction, what's fatigued, and what is needed.
  • Analyze underperforming markets to identify root causes (creative, campaign structure, budget, etc.) and develop/execute plans for improvement.
  • Own the operational side of running advertising at scale, including spend planning, pacing, budget allocation, campaign and creative launches, reporting, performance tracking, testing frameworks, and account organization.
  • Monitor campaigns, including over weekends when necessary, to ensure performance, correct spend behavior, and catch major issues quickly.
  • Make critical changes outside normal business hours when directed by leadership.
  • Drive innovation by staying updated on elite advertiser strategies, new platform strategies, creative trends, campaign structures, platforms, tools, and testing methodologies.
  • Bring new ideas, challenge assumptions, run tests, learn from them, and iterate.
  • Communicate quickly and make decisions.
  • Constantly seek incremental improvements to drive more volume at a lower cost.
