This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our Maintenance and Facilities operations. You’ll support daily workflows, maintain safe work environments, and help Facilities Leadership execute key priorities. Strong customer interaction skills, independent problem‑solving, and the ability to collaborate across teams and vendors are essential. You’ll also guide colleagues with diverse technical and cultural backgrounds to keep operations running smoothly. This role puts you at the center of keeping our facilities running safely and efficiently. You’ll tackle a wide variety of hands‑on tasks, solve real problems in real time, and collaborate with employees at all levels as well as external partners. Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, preventive maintenance procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements, allowing you to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to complete PMs, log work orders, and partner with planners to optimize maintenance activities demonstrates a high level of technical capability.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and facility partners to ensure maintenance needs are clearly understood and resolved promptly.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational continuity reflects a strong customer focus, ensuring that the facility environment supports the needs of all users.
  • Consistently prioritize minimizing downtime and maintaining a positive service experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to clearly document maintenance activities, communicate safety concerns, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Supports accurate work order completion, smooth handoffs, and alignment across facility operations.
  • Apply structured troubleshooting methods to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, using your maintenance experience to resolve problems quickly and safely.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, identify root causes, and recommend solutions demonstrates strong problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, leadership, vendors, and contractors, building strong working relationships that support smooth maintenance operations.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of experience in general maintenance or facility maintenance.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in specific fields of facilities and maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC (heating, ventilation, & air conditioning), and/or maintenance of building infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of electricity and electrical systems (AC/DC systems, relays, switches, fuses, breakers, motors)
  • Maintenance experience on overhead cranes, overhead doors, fabrication equipment (water jet, mill, lathe, etc.), and generators.
  • Knowledgeable in cutting, grinding, welding, and fabrication.
  • Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and building drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand and power tools as well as other equipment to perform carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, HVAC and other repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge in the use and application of moderately complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment and systems.
  • Adheres to established industry and enterprise standards, policies and practices relating to safety, quality, schedule, cost, accounting, purchasing and regulatory compliance in performing assigned duties.
  • Participate in the implementation of Continuous Improvements (CI) projects, space planning projects and capital projects.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Conducts and completes on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
