About The Position
The Facilities Representative is responsible for supporting all processing/packaging technologies as well as PIT equipment battery charging stations and battery maintenance. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this individual will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, efficiency, equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. The role As a Facilities Tech II at McKesson, you'll support our processing and packaging technologies while maintaining PIT equipment battery charging stations and performing battery maintenance. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining safety, quality, and equipment reliability across our operations. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while providing technical support to your shift team. You'll diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems using industry-standard tools and documentation. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will ensure optimal equipment performance and a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Can read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions with confidence
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting abilities and can isolate faults in electrical and electronic control systems
- Possesses proficient computer skills and experience with various software platforms
- Works independently with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and maintenance manuals to perform accurate diagnostics and repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, identifying hazards and defects before they impact operations
- Maintain comprehensive equipment records and documentation for all tests, maintenance, modifications, and repairs
- Provide technical support to shift employees and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments
