About The Position

Sabre Systems is recruiting a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer for its Model-Based Systems Engineering Division to support the Heavy Lift Helicopter Program Office (PMA-261) and the CH-53K aircraft. The position supports model-based engineering focused on capability definition, interfaces, integration considerations, and verification readiness. It is a local hybrid position in Lexington Park, Maryland, with on-site work as required, and approximately five trips per year, usually lasting three to four days each. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance or higher, or eligibility for Secret/TS clearance as described in the posting, and U.S. citizenship. The role includes maintaining model-backed interface definitions, supporting requirements traceability and change impact analysis, contributing to model-based verification planning, preparing review-ready stakeholder views, and supporting modeling conventions, governance, and publishing. The position requires a master's degree in a technical or scientific field, or a bachelor's degree in such a field plus four additional years of relevant experience, as well as 10 or more years of systems engineering/MBSE experience on DoD mission systems or equivalent complex programs. The stated general salary range is $165,000 to $180,000, with final compensation dependent on qualifications and applicable contract terms. Qualifying employee referrals are eligible for a Level 3 referral bonus.
