About The Position

The Senior Master Production Scheduler performs supply planning for assigned products to meet customer service goals, optimize inventory investment, and meet production requirements. The role develops attainable product-line production schedules and master schedules that establish the sequence and lead time of operations to meet shipping dates indicated by sales forecasts or customer orders. It is responsible for performance indicators including unit fill rates, inventory days of supply (DOS), and SLOB levels. The position manages and reports finished-goods inventory, including safety-stock modeling for components and raw materials, identifying and minimizing obsolete inventory, and supporting new-product builds and phase-ins or phase-outs of existing SKUs. It monitors excess and obsolete work-in-process (WIP), raw-material, and component inventory; performs planning and data analysis for cross-functional projects; and partners with departments such as Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, R&D, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Manufacturing to resolve issues. The employee is expected to pursue developmental training opportunities, particularly in supply chain management, such as APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Depending on organizational design, the role may have part-time intern/co-op direct reports. The role is based fully onsite in Lititz, Pennsylvania. The annual base salary range for new hires is $90,100–$127,200, with the amount influenced by work location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 4 years of business experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, required.

Nice To Haves

A focused degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Math, Engineering, or Logistics is preferred.
One year of related work experience in Consumer Products Supply Chain—including supply chain planning, forecasting, distribution, customer service, manufacturing, warehouse, or procurement—is preferred.
Experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing facility is preferred.
APICS certification is preferred.
Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training, and/or certification is preferred.
Experience with SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor excess and obsolete work-in-process, raw-material, and component inventory.
Perform planning and related data analysis for cross-functional projects.
Partner with Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, R&D, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Manufacturing to resolve issues affecting areas of responsibility.
Pursue developmental training opportunities, particularly in supply chain management.
Depending on organizational design, manage part-time intern/co-op direct reports.
