About The Position

The Marketplace Senior New Business Development Manager, Alliances drives the growth of Marketplace through Strategic Partnerships. This role owns the end-to-end Agency and Strategic Partner program, from identifying and securing new partners to scaling and optimizing ongoing performance. Key responsibilities include developing and executing Agency and other Strategic Partner acquisition strategies, leading structured onboarding programs, and designing scalable enablement resources that clearly articulate the Marketplace value proposition and ideal seller profiles. The role serves as the primary point of contact for Agency and Strategic Partner enablement, ensuring partners are equipped with the training, tools, and insights needed to generate high-quality, partner-sourced leads. In close partnership with Sales Operations, this leader supports lead flow processes, measures partner effectiveness, and continuously refines enablement strategies to improve performance. The role also leads training sessions, educational forums, and informational programs to drive Agency and Strategic Partner engagement, productivity, and measurable business outcomes for Marketplace. Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketplaces and/or merchandising OR 4+ years of experience in sales/business development roles required.
  • Experience managing corporate contracts including facilitating legal, operational and/or financial terms and policies required.
  • Experience negotiating complex business agreements.
  • Strong communication skills, both internal and externally facing, across all levels of an organization required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing a wide pipeline of external prospective vendors/business partners strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Salescloud experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build complex go-to-market sourcing strategies based off financial and profitability goals preferred.
  • Strong project management skills are preferred.
