About The Position

Hint Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketplace & Partnerships to lead their partner ecosystem, encompassing Marketplace and partnerships programs. This role, reporting to the Head of Marketing with a close collaboration with the Head of Community, will focus on aligning partner strategies with Marketplace adoption and community growth. As a hands-on individual contributor, the role involves end-to-end ownership of Hint's Marketplace and partnerships growth engine, including sourcing, solutioning, negotiating, and launching partners across three categories: application partners (vendors building apps on the platform), integration partners (connected via API), and solution partners (DPC-adjacent services like marketing, legal, accounting).

Requirements

  • 5+ years in marketplace, platform partnerships, strategic partnerships, BD, or sales engineering, ideally in a role bridging product and customers.
  • Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and product systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing partner or platform deals.
  • Experience driving cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, and go-to-market (GTM) teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build structure and documentation.
  • Healthcare or health-tech experience preferred; SaaS marketplace or platform experience in an adjacent regulated space (e.g., fintech) is also suitable.

Nice To Haves

  • API/integration partnership experience, including managing partners from staging/beta to production.
  • Familiarity with Direct Primary Care (DPC) or primary care workflows.
  • Experience establishing a partner program from its inception.
  • Experience building processes with AI.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit strategic Marketplace partners, building a prioritized target list, conducting outbound outreach to decision-makers, and developing a clear point of view on categories that drive the most Marketplace value.
  • Own inbound partner engagement, including triaging interest, conducting discovery, evaluating fit, and communicating clear decisions (go/park/decline).
  • Determine the appropriate path for each partner (app, integration, or solution partner) and explain the technical and commercial implications, involving product or engineering as needed.
  • Negotiate and close agreements, leading discussions on pricing and revenue models (rev share, transaction fees, subscription, referrals), and defining launch readiness with each partner.
  • Lead onboarding and launch processes, driving cross-functional readiness with product, support, marketing, and GTM teams. For technical partners, align on scope, milestones, and rollout from beta/staging to production.
  • Build the partner program by establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and lightweight reporting to ensure repeatability and visibility for leadership.
