About The Position

Orange Barrel Media (OBM) is looking for a gifted storyteller and creative marketer to join our Client & Creative Services (CCS) team. This person will translate complex ideas from our real estate-focused Development team and out-of-home (OOH) media Sales team into clear, compelling decks and presentation materials. While this role supports marketing efforts across the company, its primary focus is partnering with our Creative Director to bring OBM’s unique offerings and market narratives to life through bespoke materials that win over landlords, municipal and community stakeholders, and advertising partners. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and design team to pair strong narrative structure with polished visual execution. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure every deck is grounded in the right information and told in the right voice for its intended audience.

Requirements

• A self-motivated, proactive approach to work, with the ability to seek out solutions, remove roadblocks, and ask for support when needed
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to shape a clear narrative arc from dense or technical information and tailor it to the needs of the intended audience
• A strong understanding of information design and how to sequence a story visually, not simply fill slides with text
• Experience translating operational, technical, or data-heavy information, such as real estate, market data, or research, into persuasive materials that make complex concepts and processes clear to the reader
• A track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines
• Comfort working cross-functionally with teams such as Development, Sales, Creative, and Data & Insights and adjusting tone for a range of audiences, including executives, landlords, municipal officials, community members, national brands, and advertising agency teams
• A portfolio or work samples that showcase strong presentation and storytelling craft
• Experience presenting to or preparing materials for external stakeholders
• Strong proficiency in popular presentation software, including Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Slides

Nice To Haves

• Experience in out-of-home, media, advertising, or real estate is a plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator, for light design collaboration

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Development team to translate new site opportunities, existing brand stories, case studies, market data, and OOH value propositions into persuasive decks for landlords, municipalities, zoning and community boards, and other external stakeholders
• Serve as a storyteller for high-stakes presentations, including core marketing materials, sales pitch decks, market overviews, case studies and testimonials, video projects, and leadership presentations
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and graphic design team to brief projects, provide content direction, and ensure your copywriting and creative vision are paired with strong graphic design that brings each marketing story to life
• Translate data and analysis from the Data & Insights team into clear, audience-appropriate narratives
• Build and maintain reusable content frameworks and messaging toolkits for recurring marketing materials to increase consistency, quality, and speed across the team
• Manage multiple concurrent requests, setting priorities and timelines in partnership with the Creative Director and requesting teams across Sales and Development
• Champion brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all external and internal marketing materials with support from the creative team
