About The Position

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to support government marketing initiatives within the law enforcement and public safety sector. This role involves collaborating with strategic marketing directors and business leaders to enhance brand differentiation, drive business priorities like demand generation and retention, and develop innovative marketing solutions. The position offers the potential to manage social media campaigns, support business expansion, create promotional materials, and coordinate major promotional events such as trade shows and industry conferences. This is a remote role with potential travel requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)
5-7 years of experience in a marketing environment
Knowledge of public safety market and law enforcement customer base
Understanding of marketing and communications basics to drive business goals
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bring innovative thinking and marketing practices to all industry marketing activities
Strong team player with the ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team
Organized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
Proficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CoPilot and Internet savvy.
A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of and communicate new technology and marketing trends.
A proactive, self-motivated person capable of leading initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and deliver with high-impact results.
Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role.
Must pass both the standard company background check and an enhanced criminal background check compliant with FBI's CJIS security policy.
Subject to ongoing criminal background checks.
Must be certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information to perform essential functions.

Nice To Haves

Experience in large corporate setting and/or professional services a plus
Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint skills are a plus
Experience with Eloqua, Salesforce, Marmind, Highspot, and Big Marker a plus

Responsibilities

Support marketing initiatives in the development, maintenance, and execution of all marketing campaigns, including digital strategy.
Perform a variety of drafting for different types of content.
Exercise judgment around content and edits when creating/updating decks, drafting collateral materials, or updating websites.
Creation and implementation of full social media plans for campaigns.
Support event planning, including logistics, invitations, registration, conference materials, and on-site assistance.
Gather data and input data into standard reports, focusing on data accuracy, data curation, and proper use of grammar.
Collaborate with alliance business teams to develop content and represent the LexisNexis Risk Solutions brand.
All other duties as assigned.
