About The Position

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to support government marketing initiatives within the law enforcement and public safety sector. This role involves collaborating with strategic marketing directors and business leaders to enhance the LexisNexis Risk Solutions brand, drive business priorities like demand generation and retention, and develop innovative marketing solutions. The position offers the potential to manage social media campaigns, support business expansion, create promotional materials, and oversee major promotional events such as trade shows and industry conferences. This is a remote role with potential travel requirements. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional eager to deepen industry knowledge and expertise in professional services marketing, with a strong ability to collaborate within a matrixed organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)
5-7 years of experience in a marketing environment
Knowledge of public safety market and law enforcement customer base
Understanding of marketing and communications basics to drive business goals
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bring innovative thinking and marketing practices to all industry marketing activities
Strong team player with the ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team
Organized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
Proficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CoPilot and Internet savvy.
A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of and communicate new technology and marketing trends.
A proactive, self-motivated person capable of leading initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and deliver with high-impact results.
Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role.
The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (“CJIS”) security policy.
Employees in this role may also be subject to ongoing criminal background checks as required by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners.
Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role.
Employees who subsequently fail to obtain or maintain CJIS compliance may be reassigned or terminated.

Nice To Haves

Experience in large corporate setting and/or professional services a plus
Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint skills are a plus
Experience with Eloqua, Salesforce, Marmind, Highspot, and Big Marker a plus

Responsibilities

Support marketing initiatives in the development, maintenance, and execution of all marketing campaigns including digital strategy.
Perform a variety of drafting different types of content.
Exercise judgement around content and edits when creating/updating decks, drafting collateral materials, or updating websites.
Creation and implementation of full social media plans for campaigns.
Support event planning, including logistics, invitations, registration, conference materials, and on-site assistance.
Gather data and input data into standard reports, focusing on data accuracy, data curation, and proper use of grammar.
Collaborate with alliance business teams to develop content and represent the LexisNexis Risk Solutions brand.
All other duties as assigned.
