About The Position

As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will lead the marketing strategy and brand direction for Morison Insurance. This role is primarily strategic — you will set direction, define priorities, and review output, working closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist who handles day-to-day execution across social, digital, and content channels. A core part of this role is deeply understanding our audiences and translating what makes Morison different — our independence, our people, our community roots — into communications that resonate and convert. Equally important is staying connected to the business, interpreting what the data is telling us, and turning those insights into clear, actionable recommendations. As AI continues to reshape the marketing landscape, this role also plays a key part in how we evolve — leveraging AI tools to sharpen strategy and keep Morison ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and SEO strategy
  • Strong communications background with the ability to understand distinct audiences, articulate brand differentiators, and craft messaging that connects — not just informs
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into concrete marketing recommendations
  • Genuinely curious about the business — someone who seeks to understand how Morison grows and how marketing can directly support those goals
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva for Business
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools
  • Comfortable in a sales-driven environment with excellent written and verbal communications skills and a sharp eye for brand consistency
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
