About The Position

This role oversees and leads the execution of comprehensive Brand Plan strategy, supported and co-created with business and non-Business units, whilst ensuring alignment with the Bank’s brand strategy, marketing policies and procedures, leveraging on market insights and trends to drive business growth. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the commercialization of new products and services, overseeing product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and market penetration. They will work with product owners to develop appropriate and responsive systems and tools to market the bank’s products and services within Business Functions. This role ensures appropriate application of brand usage guidelines and marketing policies in the marketing of the Bank’s products and services as developed by the Business functions, ensuring consistency across the Bank whilst attending to local uniqueness. The Senior Marketing Manager will provide expert support in developing effective marketing strategies, utilize data-driven insights and metrics to evaluate marketing performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies for maximum Return on Investment. They will develop appropriate metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of marketing activities to the bottom line. Additionally, they will cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as agencies, ensuring the best possible output on brands through innovative media plans and creative material. This role involves effective management of the marketing budget and providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving results. Daily responsibilities include managing all marketing activities, advertising and promotional activities, managing promotional materials and their distribution, managing and enhancing the corporate brand through various advertising mediums, managing and articulating product positioning, messaging, collateral and promotion goals and strategies, working with design houses, printers, and agencies to ensure adherence to brand guidelines, and managing the marketing budget with tracking reports and reconciliation with finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Marketing Certification e.g. CIM or any other related certificate
  • 4 years of experience in Marketing
  • 4 years of experience in Brand Management
  • 4 years of experience in Marketing Campaigns
  • 4 years of experience in Market Research & Analytics
  • 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing
  • 3 years of experience in Budget Management
  • 3 years of experience in Marketing Communication

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration

Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of marketing activities to the bottom line.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders e.g. agencies supporting their own area and challenge the agency to ensure the best possible output on the brands by ensuring the attainment of innovative media plans and creative material, which exhibit clear understanding of brand values, consumer motivation and competitive context.
  • Effective management of the marketing budget.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving results.
  • Manage all marketing activities, advertising and promotional activities, and effectively manage promotional materials and their distribution.
  • Manage and enhance the corporate brand through effective mediums of advertising (Digital media, radios, billboards, mail shots, branding etc.)
  • Manage and clearly articulate product positioning, messaging, collateral and promotion goals and strategies.
  • Work with Design houses, printers, agencies and ensure all developed communication adheres to the set brand guidelines.
  • Manage Marketing budget and provide tracking reports on marketing expenditure (reconciliation with finance on all payments and procurement e.g. ensuring LPOs are issued).
