About The Position

This role is responsible for driving commercial execution and sales support activities that help optimize the CMF and Thoracic business, including marketing operations, compliance and copy approval processes, and support for local and regional meetings. The position partners closely with sales and marketing leadership to align execution with business priorities and deliver operational excellence.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent is required; Business/Marketing/Finance degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in healthcare / medical device marketing, sales, finance, or other commercial experience is required.
  • Experience guiding teams, through direct management or mentorship.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability through influencing, including the ability to lead and manage through change is required.
  • Track record of success working within a matrixed organizational environment; enterprise mindset decision-making is preferred.
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communications skills; excellent organizational skills along with the ability to make sales presentations with positive results is required.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders; which includes communicating, influencing, and providing comprehensive solutions is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, including the ability to design, structure, and lead projects is required.
  • Ability to travel required (~20-30%)

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Leaders for commercial Business Planning for their geography leveraging consistent business planning processes and tools, to include segmentation, targeting, account planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure coordination of required corporate assets.
  • Proactively drive data-driven account target identification with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and supporting internal functions using available analytics tools.
  • Ensure customer facing QBRs are in place for all customers eligible for contract compliance discussions
  • Lead regular (e.g. BiWeekly) opportunity / pipeline reviews with Sales Leadership using a consistent methodology focusing on next actions
  • Track progress against pipeline, identify and break down roadblocks with internal stakeholders, and collaborate with sales management to understand and address reasons for variance
  • Lead development of Area implementation plans, activities, and next steps required to close key opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, CommOps, Prof Ed, Demand Planning, SCG, and others to drive execution
  • Lead asset allocation to align resources with the greatest customer opportunities, including NPI roll-out processes
  • Responsible for execution of in geography Tier 2/3 meetings, to include insuring that the JNJ MedTech Team is showing up in a cohesive & constructive manner.
  • Serve as power users of and lead sales training for CRM and other commercial enablement tools
  • Identify change champions to drive adoption of commercial capabilities, including digital tools, and drive best practices
  • Communicate and reinforce critical messages about Depuy Synthes and strategic priorities / must-do’s.
  • Ensure all materials accurately reflect product positioning and clinical evidence.
  • Lead the review and approval process for new marketing materials, collaborating with regulatory, legal, medical and clinical affairs.
  • Ensure all promotional materials and educational materials adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Approve and support local and regional meetings in alignment with business priorities, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with sales leadership and meeting planning teams to coordinate meeting objectives, content needs, and execution requirements.
  • Support meeting logistics, including coordination of materials, timelines, and cross-functional communication to ensure successful execution of local and regional events.
