Requirements

  • Strategic marketing expertise: Years of experience mastering acquisition marketing, knowing what it takes to build awareness, attract prospects, and convert interest into business results.
  • Digital channel fluency: Comfort across the full digital spectrum—online, email, social, SEM (PPC and SEO), retargeting, display, video. Knowing how to orchestrate these channels to work together.
  • Campaign leadership: Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, working across teams to deliver results that meet or exceed targets.
  • Data-driven decision making: Using analytics to inform strategy, measure performance, and optimize continuously. Knowing which metrics matter and how to move them.
  • Stakeholder management skills: Ability to represent Marketing effectively to business partners, translating performance into insights and building alignment around shared goals.
  • Financial acumen: Experience managing marketing budgets and knowing how to allocate resources to maximize ROI while meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborative leadership: Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies, building relationships that drive results. Knowing how to bring people together around a common vision.
  • Real estate industry knowledge: Understanding the real estate ecosystem—the players, the processes, the opportunities—and how marketing fits into the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

  • Define the acquisition strategy, leading how we attract and engage Real Estate Finance prospects across every touchpoint—digital, social, web, mobile, and offline. Your strategy will directly drive line of business goals and shape how we grow.
  • Make marketing investments count by setting priorities for paid media and supporting functions, scaling prospect and client acquisition while maximizing business impact and ROI.
  • Create integrated programs that work by partnering with US and Canadian Marketing, Digital Strategy, Sales, and REF teams to deliver digital marketing programs that connect the dots from awareness to conversion.
  • Tell the story of success by representing Marketing to business stakeholders, sharing performance insights and demonstrating progress in ways that inform decisions and build confidence.
  • Build disciplined client journeys by creating treatment plans for REF Acquisition campaigns that bring rigor and clarity to prospect engagement and onboarding.
  • Map the full funnel by designing top-, middle-, and bottom-of-funnel strategies that grow REF leads and prospects while improving pull-through rates at every stage.
  • Connect digital nurturing to human expertise by enhancing top-of-funnel lead conversion by linking digital CTAs with our US Home Advisor team, creating seamless handoffs that serve prospects better.
  • Expand realtor partnerships by growing realtor engagement programs, including ownership of the Cross-border Real Estate Edge microsite, facilitating two-way communication that strengthens these vital relationships.
  • Manage marketing investments strategically by planning, prioritizing, allocating, and overseeing REF marketing budgets, ensuring resources align with priorities and deliver results.
  • Build awareness through events by partnering with US BDO to identify and support real estate events that grow awareness and relationships with external centers of influence.
  • Shape the future of REF by providing thought leadership on ecosystem expansion and go-to-market strategy under the RBC US HomePlus Advantage brand, influencing how we show up in the market.
  • Optimize through partnership by working with RBC Canada and external agencies to deliver against objectives, establishing ongoing processes to track performance, review results, and apply data-driven recommendations that increase performance.
