The Boeing Company is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst to serve as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the PAC-3 Operations team located in Huntsville, AL. This position supports the factory team and senior Operations leadership by developing Estimates at Completion (EACs), conducting cost analysis and performance trends, and evaluating headcount management to support business forecasts. Additionally, the CAM will be the proposal focal for Operations and responsible for Basis of Estimate (BOE) submittals for future contracts. The selected candidate will be a fast-paced innovator with the ability to collaborate with other functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Excel, Access, or other database management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Earned Value Management or operations cost account management.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
  • Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost opportunities and risks
  • Leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to leadership
  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause, and recommend solutions
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
  • Works with organizations to develop and implement strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
  • Provides status to internal and external customers
  • Develops staffing plans and resource forecasts
