About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to lead parts of our 737 P-8 / 700 IGW Teams in Renton, Washington. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
Must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
