Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and production systems
  • Proven experience driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and influencing across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to implement sustainable solutions
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs arise to support enterprise initiatives across Trystar locations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fastening systems, torque methodology, and joint reliability
  • Background in electromechanical assembly and manufacturing environments
  • Experience implementing or supporting automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading multi-site or enterprise initiatives
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, including ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of enterprise manufacturing standards, best practices, and process frameworks
  • Drive waste reduction initiatives through Lean manufacturing, automation, and process optimization
  • Serve as a technical leader across multiple sites, supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts
  • Develop and standardize work instructions, process documentation, and engineering procedures across the enterprise
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, including automation and advanced assembly methods
  • Provide hands-on support to production teams, resolving process issues and improving efficiency
  • Partner with design engineering to improve design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
  • Lead or support capital equipment selection, justification, and implementation
  • Analyze manufacturing performance and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost (SQDIC)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure alignment across the enterprise
